ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Rhode Island, I attended West Warwick High School before beginning my undergraduate journey at Wellesley College. At Wellesley, I majored in English Literature and Cinema and Media Studies. During my senior year, I completed a senior thesis which was a screenplay adaptation of The Odyssey. Classical Studies is another passion of mine - let me know if you want to learn Ancient Greek! After graduating college, I spent a year as an admission counselor for Simmons University. Shortly after working as a counselor, I decided I wanted to become a teacher and joined Teach for America. I've been at BVP ever since!
